Italy has been widely heralded as the producer of some of the world’s finest wines and cuisine; however, it had been largely overlooked as a source of premium cigar tobacco until CAO Italia burst onto the scene. Grown exclusively for CAO, the Italian Habano seed used for this exciting cigar was originally brought to Italy from Cuba almost 50 years ago. Cultivated in the Benevento region of the southern portion of the boot between Rome and Naples, the Italian Habano tobacco lends an incredibly earthy sweetness to the cigar’s robust, full-bodied flavor.
