The collaboration between Hoyo de Monterrey and AJ Fernandez continues with this year’s introduction of La Amistad Black. For this, the third La Amistad release, AJ was challenged with crafting a cigar that exhibits the very essence of Hoyo and embodies the spirit of his tabacalera in Esteli. The result is the boldest expression in the La Amistad partnership. Featuring a meticulously fermented Ecuadoran Sumatra Oscuro wrapper that’s peppered with Nicaraguan Habano, La Amistad Black features notes of cinnamon, leather and hot sauce, delivering the quintessential power and spice befitting of an AJ blend.
